Shipping and Returns

How Your Order Ships

All products are made-to-order and fulfilled by our production partner Printful. This lets us offer fresh designs and consistent quality while reducing waste.

  • Fulfillment time (production): Typically 2–7 business days for apparel. During peak holiday periods, production may take longer.
  • Shipping time (after fulfillment):
    • USA: usually 3–5 business days
    • Canada: usually 5–10 business days
    • International: varies by destination and carrier

    These are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays (weather, holidays, customs) are outside our control.

  • Multiple items: Orders with multiple items may ship in separate packages.
  • Tracking: You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.

Shipping Costs & Duties

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and carrier.
  • International customers are responsible for any applicable customs, duties, or taxes.

Order Changes & Address Issues

  • Address changes: If you entered the wrong address, contact us ASAP at jeremy@runningdad.com. If the order has already entered production or shipped, we may be unable to change it.
  • Unclaimed/Returned-to-sender packages: If a package is returned due to an incorrect or insufficient address, or unclaimed at customs/pickup, reshipment costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Returns & Exchanges

Because each item is made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, size, or color preference.

We only replace or refund items that are misprinted, damaged, or defective. See “Damaged/Quality Issues” below.

Damaged / Quality Issues (Our Only Return Scenario)

If your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, we’ll make it right.

  • Report within 30 days of delivery (or estimated delivery for lost packages).
  • Email jeremy@runningdad.com with your order number, a brief description, and clear photos of the issue and the packing slip.
  • Once approved, we’ll arrange a replacement at no cost (or a refund if a replacement isn’t possible).

Note: Minor color/placement variations can occur in print-on-demand production and on different screens. These are not considered defects.


Lost Packages

  • If tracking shows “delivered” but you didn’t receive it, please first check with household members, neighbors, and your local carrier office.
  • If the package appears stuck in transit or never arrives, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date at jeremy@runningdad.com. We’ll investigate and, if confirmed lost, arrange a replacement.

How Returns Are Handled (When Approved)

  • For quality issues, we’ll provide instructions and a return address (Printful facility) only if a return is required. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
  • Do not send items back without contacting us first.

Holiday Season Notes

  • Order early! Production and carrier networks can experience seasonal delays from November–December.
  • Our posted cutoff dates are estimates, not guarantees. We’ll do our best to get your order to you in time.
